Sweetpotato Germplasm and Genome Resource Database
A Comprehensive Genomic Resource
Genomic data and breeding tools for sweetpotato improvement
SweetpotatoGGRD is a carefully curated and integrated multi-omics resource database for sweetpotato. In this database, we provide phenotypic data for hundreds of important sweetpotato germplasm resources, and integrate and analyze datasets from genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and phenomics, offering various tools to facilitate users in using these datasets.

Sweetpotato (Ipomoea batatas) is an important food crop throughout the world and especially in developing countries due to its caloric and nutritional benefits. Efforts to improve breeding of sweetpotato for traits important to small farmers can be accelerated through the use of genomics-assisted (genomics-guided) breeding.
The SweetpotatoGGRD database is structured into five main modules: genome, phenotype, genotype, transcriptomics, and tools. SweetpotatoGGRD integrates genomic resources, germplasm information, and publicly available omics datasets. Data from our germplasm collection and published research provide interfaces for searching, visualization, and downloading. This organizational structure enables users to explore sequence variations and gene expression while examining literature-reported phenotypes and gene functions.
